Bio Note: Carsten Ochs is a postdoctoral researcher in the research project “Internet Privacy: A Culture of Privacy and Trust” (National Academy of Science and Engineering) of the sociology department at the Technical University, Darmstadt. Throughout his academic life, his empirical research has focused on the production and use of science and technology in Western as well as non-Western contexts. At the same time, he has developed a strong interest in epistemology and process thought. His areas of expertise include science and technology studies, media anthropology, globalization research, theories of privacy, epistemology, and process theory.
