Open peer commentary on the article “Constructing Computational Thinking Without Using Computers” by Tim Bell & Michael Lodi. Abstract: Unplugged activities on computer science - possibly performed in the fresh air together with classmates - are fun for many children and foster computational thinking. The primary goal is to become aware of CS concepts without programming. Nevertheless, unplugged experience might also be useful for software development in the classroom.
