Abstract
Abstract: We offer a response to four themes that result from the commentators’ inquiries and critiques: (a) the psychodynamic perspective in contemplative research; (b) the limitations of self-reported measurements and their relationship with first-person data from micro-phenomenological interviews; (c) the role and nuances of these interviews in mindfulness-based interventions; and (d) cultural aspects in mindfulness and self-regulation.
