Bio Note: Ema Demšar is a cognitive scientist interested in the study of lived experience within the enactive and neurophenomenological framework. She obtained an MSc in Cognitive Science from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, where she then went on to work as a researcher and teaching assistant at the Center for Cognitive Science. Ema’s empirical and theoretical work has focused on advancing methods and designs for first-person research and examining its epistemological and methodological challenges in the context of cognitive science. She has recently ventured into the field of dream research, with her upcoming doctoral project at Monash University, Australia, focusing on the neurophenomenology of meta-awareness in dreaming.
