Bio Note: Alejandro Ochoa-Arias holds a BSc degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Los Andes, Venezuela, an MSc in Information Management (Lancaster University) and a PhD (Hull University). Alejandro is from Venezuela, where he worked at the University of Los Andes for 33 years. He has been at the Universidad Austral de Chile since 2017, has published on Community Operational Research, Systems Thinking and has worked on exploring the role of community organizations in different accounts of development. Currently, Alejandro is Coordinator of the Latin-American School on Systems Thinking and Design (ELAPDIS in Spanish).
