Bio Note: Bernd Porr has degrees in physics and journalism and a Ph.D in computational neuroscience from the University of Stirling. Since 2004, he has been a lecturer in electronics and electrical engineering at the University of Glasgow. His research interests range from neurophysiology, through biologically-inspired robotics, to social systems.
