Bio Note: Claudio Castellini received a Laurea in Biomedical Engineering in 1998 from the University of Genova, Italy, and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence in 2005 from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Since 2009 he has been a researcher at the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics of the German Aerospace Center, Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany, concentrating on human-machine interfaces for the disabled and assistive robotics. He is currently (co-)author of about 85 papers that have appeared in international journals, books and peer-reviewed conferences.
