Bio Note: Heather Lynn Johnson is an assistant professor at the University of Colorado Denver. Her research investigates students’ mathematical reasoning related to quantity and covariation. Having spent 13 years teaching high school students, Johnson has connected her research to the classroom, receiving a Linking Research and Practice Outstanding Publication Award from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
