Bio Note: Jaime R. Silva is a psychologist and has a doctoral degree in psychobiology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He is Full Professor and a member of the Center for Attachment and Emotional Regulation (CARE-UDD) as well as the director of the doctoral program in developmental sciences and psychopathology, Faculty of Psychology, Universidad del Desarrollo. Jaime has developed a career as a researcher in the area of psychobiology, where his main contributions have been in the field of stress regulation and its relationship with different medical or mental health conditions (including obesity, eating disorders, personality, depression, etc.), throughout the lifespan. Currently, he is working on projects linking interpersonal relationships, metacognition and stress.
