Bio Note: James W. Davis was awarded a PhD in political science from the Columbia University in the City of New York. A former John M. Olin Fellow at Harvard University, he was a member of the political science faculty of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany prior to his appointment as Professor in International Politics at the University of St. Gallen. Visiting appointments include the University of Vienna and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research interests include international security, political psychology and constructivist IR.
