Bio Note: María Carolina Pino is a doctoral student at the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. She has a degree in Arts from the University of Chile and has completed the Master of the Interactive Telecommunications Program, Tisch School of the Arts – New York University and postgraduate studies at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and the Faculty of Art and Architecture of the University of Columbia, New York. She is an academic at the Faculty of Design Engineering of the DesignLab of the Adolfo Ibáñez University, creator and director of the Center for Emerging Interfaces. Her line of work and research is the articulation between creativity and technology, through the use of networks, mobility and electronic circuits, wearables, assisted technology and education.
