Bio Note: Marisa Przyrembel is a licensed psychotherapist (cognitive behavioral therapy). As Professor for Clinical Psychology at the University of Applied Sciences for Human Sciences in Berlin, Germany, her teaching areas include psychological disorders and mental well-being. Occupational stressors and suitable self-care strategies in police, emergency, and health-care personnel have inspired most of her research. In her clinical work, contemplative techniques play a key role. Trained in conducting micro-phenomenological interviews, one of her aims since her PhD in Philosophy of Mind is to combine subjective (first-person) and objective (third-person) approaches.
