Bio Note: Markus Nowak received an MSc degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in mechanical engineering from the Technical University anumerical mechanics. His master’s thesis was carried out in cooperation with the Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics of the German Aerospace Center, Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. After his masters he continued as a research fellow at the Robotics and Mechatronics Center with a focus on human–machine interfaces for controlling upper-limb prosthetics.
