Bio Note: Michael Kimmel is a researcher at the University of Vienna, with a focus on embodied, enactive, embedded, and extended cognitive science. His range of interests spans interaction and joint improvisation, skill theory, co-creation, decision making, as well as complexity reasoning. He specializes in empirical phenomenology and has developed micro-genetic tools for reconstructing tacit and embodied knowledge (stimulated recall, experimental workshops with experts). Application fields include improvisational dance, martial arts, somatic therapy, partner acrobatics, and crafts.
