Bio Note: Michael Weigend studied computer science, chemistry and education at the University of Bochum and the University of Hagen and received a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Potsdam, Germany. His main research interest is media design for computer science education. He is a teacher at a secondary school in Witten, Germany and he has taught Didactics of Informatics at the University of Hagen for almost 20 years. He has published several books on computer programming, web development and visual modelling.
