Bio Note: Pamela Reyes-Santander, Doktorin der Naturwissenschaft (Dr. rer. nat.), 2012, University of Augsburg, Germany, is a Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Education, University of the Americas, Chile. She investigates enactive teaching and learning processes as well as basic notions (Grundvorstellungen) in mathematics education. She is especially interested in understanding the role of sensorimotor dynamics in the teaching and learning of mathematics. Pamela has developed various didactic materials in her work for the Chilean Ministry of Education from the perspective of knowledge construction, enactivism and basic notions.
