Bio Note: Rika Preiser is a philosopher and complex systems scientist. Her work explores the philosophical foundations and interdisciplinary inquiry into the complexities, paradoxes, contradictions, and uncertainties of what it means to be human in the ever-changing dynamics that emerge from human–environment interactions. She is co-editor of the Routledge Handbook of Research Methods for Social-Ecological Systems (2021).
