Bio Note: Sven Engesser is a senior research and teaching associate at the Institute of Mass Communication and Media Research at the University of Zurich. He received his Ph.D. from the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich. His research interests include journalism, science communication, political communication, and media systems. Engesser has published research articles in several peer-reviewed academic journals including Digital Journalism, International Communication Gazette, the Journal of Communication, Journalism, Journalism Studies, and Science Communication.
