Bio Note: Thomas Tanay is currently enrolled in a MRes/PhD programme at UCL in the Centre for Mathematics and Physics in the Life Sciences and Experimental Biology (CoMPLEX). In December 2012, he graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London with a MSc in Cognitive Computing, before taking a short term position of research assistant under the supervision of Prof. Mark Bishop. During this period, his work has essentially consisted in adapting the swarm intelligence method called Stochastic Diffusion Search (SDS) to solve complex forward planning problems such as game-playing.
